Manchester Water Works Rate Increase
On June 23, 2022 the Manchester Water Works Board of Commissioners voted to approve a 7% rate increase for water usage, service charges and fire protection charges. The rate increase is based upon dramatic increases in water treatment chemical and operating costs. CHWP has also seen the same increases in operating costs and teh 7% increase from MWW impacts the rate in which we purchase wholesale water for our custsomers. As superintendent I will be recommending a rate increase to the CHWP Board of Commissioners for consideration. At this time I do not know what this increase will be or the time it may be implemented.
